About
Created from the needing support to access professional development opportunities for local registered nurses and enrolled nurses.
In response to local aged care providers, needing support to access professional development opportunities for registered nurses and enrolled nurses, ADHERe worked in partnership with aged care providers and the University of Wollongong (UOW) to co-design resources for advance aged care clinical skills.
Workshops were delivered several times across UOW campuses to meet this demand and ensure access to professional development.
This project was fully funded by COORDINARE, a primary health network for South-Eastern New South Wales and was made possible with financial and in-kind support from the following organisations: HammondCare; Illawarra Multi-cultural Village; IRT; MediCare Local Illawarra-Shoalhaven; UnitingCare: Ageing; University of Wollongong; Warrigal; Wollongong Nursing Home.
